Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between you (“the Customer”) and Forbnb Cleaning Services (“we,” “our,” or “us”), located at 125 Montague St, South Melbourne VIC 3205, for the provision of professional cleaning services. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Service Provision

1.1 We provide residential, Airbnb, and short-term rental cleaning services (“the Service”) at the location specified by the Customer (“the Premises”).
1.2 A qualified cleaner (“the Cleaner”) will attend the Premises at a mutually agreed time and date (“the Service Time”).
1.3 We commit to performing the Service with diligence, care, and professionalism.

2. Amendments to Services

2.1 Any changes to the agreed Service must be requested and confirmed with us prior to the Service Time.
2.2 Cleaners are not authorised to modify the scope of the Service. All requests must be directed to Forbnb Cleaning Services.

3. Customer Obligations

The Customer agrees to:
3.1 Provide a safe and accessible environment for the Cleaner;
3.2 Ensure access to all necessary areas of the Premises;
3.3 Provide utilities such as water, electricity, and rubbish disposal;
3.4 Inform us of any hazards or safety concerns prior to the service;
3.5 Remove or secure all valuable, fragile, or sentimental items;
3.6 Confirm that they are authorised to request cleaning services at the Premises.

4. Health & Safety

4.1 The Cleaner may conduct a risk assessment before beginning work.
4.2 The Service may be refused or halted if safety concerns arise.
4.3 Wet floors may be hazardous. The Customer is responsible for keeping all persons away from cleaned areas until they are dry.
4.4 The Customer must ensure children, pets, and dependents are kept away from all equipment and products.
4.5 All cleaning products should be considered toxic and are not for ingestion or misuse.

5. Bookings

5.1 Bookings may be made by phone, email, or through our website.
5.2 The Customer must disclose all relevant details and safety concerns at the time of booking.
5.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking.

6. Quotes

6.1 Quotes are based on information provided by the Customer and assume standard room sizes.
6.2 Quotes remain valid for 30 days.
6.3 Final pricing may be adjusted if the conditions at the Premises differ from what was described.
6.4 Any price adjustments will be communicated and confirmed before the Service begins.

7. Access Issues

7.1 If the Cleaner is unable to access the Premises, a fee equal to the minimum service charge will apply.

8. Payment Terms

8.1 Payment is due 7 days after the invoice is issued, which occurs at the beginning of each month.
8.2 Accepted payment methods include bank transfer or credit card (a 1.75% surcharge applies to credit card payments).

9. GST

9.1 All quoted prices include GST unless otherwise specified.

10. Late Payment

10.1 If invoices remain unpaid after the 7-day payment period, a $30 late fee will apply.
10.2 Interest will be charged at 10% per annum on any outstanding balance.
10.3 Accounts overdue by more than 90 days may be referred to a debt recovery agency, which will incur an additional charge of 10% of the total invoice amount to cover debt collection fees.
10.4 The Customer will be liable for all costs associated with the recovery of the debt, including legal and administrative fees.

11. Complaints & Resolutions

11.1 All complaints must be lodged within 24 hours of service completion.
11.2 We reserve the right to remedy the situation by:
a. Offering a re-clean;
b. Issuing a partial or full refund;
c. Providing an alternative resolution.
11.3 We must be given an opportunity to rectify any issues before compensation is provided.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 We are not liable for:
a. Service disruptions due to Customer negligence (e.g., no access or utilities);
b. Circumstances beyond our control (e.g., emergencies, power failures);
c. Pre-existing stains or damage that cannot be removed;
d. Damage to valuables not secured or declared by the Customer;
e. Variations in cleaning results.
12.2 Our maximum liability is limited to the re-supply of the Service.

13. Indemnity

13.1 The Customer agrees to indemnify Forbnb Cleaning Services from:
a. Any damages or losses resulting from unsafe premises or breach of terms;
b. Any costs associated with recovery of outstanding payments or legal proceedings.

14. Damage or Theft

14.1 Any incidents must be reported within 24 hours.
14.2 We are not liable for damages or losses reported after this timeframe.
14.3 Items such as cash, jewellery, artwork, or antiques are excluded from our liability.

15. Termination

15.1 This Agreement may be terminated by the Customer with 24 hours’ notice.
15.2 We may terminate with 24 hours’ notice or immediately if the Customer breaches any part of this Agreement.

16. Governing Law

16.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
16.2 Any legal disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.

17. Severability

17.1 If any part of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force.

18. Privacy

18.1 We store only basic Customer information (first name and email).
18.2 All other personal data is purged after 2 months.
18.3 We do not share Customer information unless required by law.
